The gas-fired thermal oil furnace, also known as a gas-fired organic heat carrier furnace, primarily runs on fuels such as natural gas and city gas. Replacing traditional gas-fired thermal oil furnaces can significantly reduce flue gas emissions while greatly improving thermal efficiency. It is one of the environmentally friendly boiler models that the national government has been actively promoting in recent years. Currently, environmental protection authorities across most regions have ordered the suspension of operations for older coal-fired boilers, requiring them to remain idle until new, cleaner equipment is installed. Meanwhile, businesses that proactively respond to the government’s call by switching to gas-fired thermal oil furnaces are eligible for incentive subsidies. Since the policy was implemented in 2016, numerous enterprises in Henan Province have already taken decisive steps to phase out conventional coal-fired boilers, successfully achieving energy savings and emission reductions.
