Generally, 20# seamless pipe is used for low pressure steam, and 20G or 15CrMo seamless pipe can be used for medium pressure steam.
20# steel for steam below 2.0MPa,
20G or 15CrMo for steam of 2.0MPa to 4.0MPa,
Chromium molybdenum steel or stainless steel is used for steam above 4.0mpa.
